Metabolic Training Zones (METz) classes combine the most effective methods of cardio, weightlifting and gymnastics. They’re fun, full of variety, flexible workouts in a small group with emphasis on safe effective, exercise technique. Injury prevention is paramount as you train towards your goals. These classes are suitable for all levels of fitness, from beginner to elite athletes and everyone in between. Exercises are adapted to suit your experience and capability so everyone is working at a pace that challenges them appropriately.
You will be taken through a movement competency screening on joining to establish your ability to perform fundamental movements in body weighted positions. This will form the basis of your exercise and loading prescription during classes. We believe in gradual progression of difficulty and intensity. The key is that you are always challenged but the challenge is within your individual reach, which means you constantly improve. METz classes take place throughout the week.
